Automatic decisions
DelPro controls your sort gates to automatically select cows based on your criteria. You choose when to sort, using the data recorded by Activity Meters. Your cows will be ready for insemination when you need them to be. Cows with low activity indicating possible health issues can also be separated, ready for your vet check.
Inseminate on time
The optimum insemination window is 8 to 16 hours after the onset of standing heat. DelPro accurately identifies the start of standing heat and notifies you of the best time to breed each cow, giving you the greatest chance of insemination success.
A constant eye on cow health
When a cow's activity level declines, it is often an indication of illness or lameness. DelPro monitors each cow's activity and alerts you when your attention is needed.
Daily movements tell you a lot about an animal’s current heat and health status.
DelPro uses data recorded by Activity Meters to carry out advanced statistical analysis of her movement during the day and compares her current movement with what was expected of her. This BioModel is used to predict her heat status giving you accurate heat-status for every cow. In addition, whilst knowing her current movement status we can also predict the health status. A decreased movement indicates potential health issue.
