DeLaval Online Cell Counter OCC chemical kit is a kit, designed to be used with the DeLaval OCC equipment installation, a device for detection of subclinical mastitis.

Additional information
The DeLaval OCC Chemical kit contains a cleaning solution, a staining solution and a waste container. Without these components, the DeLaval Online Cell Counter can't operate. Ohe kit contains 6000 measurements (replace kit when consumed).
A milk sample is taken during VMS milking. This milk sample is drawn into the Online Cell Counter together with the staining solution. The cell count is measured in the OCC. The milk sample is then pushed into the waste container and the OCC meter is rinsed with water. After every 25 measurements, OCC meter will be cleaned with the cleaning solution. | |

Consumption | One kit contains 6000 measurements (around 0,25 ml of staining solution per measurement). Per cleaning cycle, around 4 ml of cleaning solution is consumed. |
Storage conditions | Store the DeLaval OCC chemical kit between 4-6°. Avoid contact with direct sunlight. Keep in the closed original box or in the OCC cabinet. |
