How DeLaval is handling the current Coronavirus guidelines

DeLaval’s primary focus is the welfare of its staff, dealerships, our customers and their families. Together with our dealers we provide a vital frontline service, which allows dairy farmers to continue their production and we must play our part in ensuring the supply chain continues as normal. Following this week’s announcements from the UK and Irish governments DeLaval has decided to take the following actions to protect our people and continue to support our dealers and our customers.

- Both Cardiff and Carlow offices are now closed. All staff are working remotely but business will continue to work as normal.

- Service technicians and technical support will continue to help customers and ensure production is kept going, while practicing social distancing.

- All open days/events in the UK and Ireland have been postponed. Newlands farm open day, due to take place April 2nd has been postponed until further notice.

- Our International supply team is also continuing to monitor the situation on a daily basis re: market supply, transport capacity, border controls etc. We will of course advise of any changes going forward, but can confirm the current situation is stable and operating well.

We wish to thank all DeLaval employees, DeLaval dealers and our customers for working closely together in this difficult situation. We are monitoring the situation closely and will take further action if necessary.
