GODRA Dairy Services – Sales Representative (Voluntary Milking Systems Sales Specialist)

GODRA Dairy Services has recently been appointed as the main dealer for Delaval in Cornwall and South West Devon. With many years of experience in the dairy industry, we strive to meet all customers' needs in both capital goods and the aftermarket portfolio.

Role Description

GODRA Dairy Services are looking to appoint a Sales Representative with a primary focus on Voluntary Milking Systems. The right person will be a motivated, driven, self-starter ready to hunt leads, create opportunities, and deliver sales results, with a keen interest in robotic milking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow sales strategy for the GODRA area of responsibility
• Grow sales in the area
• Build long-term partnership with progressive dairy farmers
• Pro-actively drive leads for the GODRA business and close sales of robotic equipment
• Fulfil targets and budgets
• Provide content for social media channels
• Execute activities to generate new leads
• Be a strong ambassador for GODRA Dairy Services and the DeLaval brand

Required qualifications and skills 

• Sales and industry knowledge
• An understanding and insight into dairy farming
• Relevant work experience
• Good people and communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships/partnerships
• Structured and well-organised
• Good English, Maths and IT skills
• Must possess a clean, valid Full UK driver's licence
• Knowledge of DeLaval solutions would be an advantage

Location

The role will cover our dealership area of Cornwall and South Devon. You will be required to occasionally attend meetings/training nationally.
